Real estate agent website – http://alexhorowitz.com
Description of project: This is a custom WordPress site utilizing the Thesis framework. The project involved completely redesigning an older, out-dated website and then performing Search Engine Optimization to drive the site to the best SERPs possible. We utilized HTML, Javascript and integrated an IDX for the MLS search. After 2 months, more than half the 63 keywords are ranking in the top 20 and the upward trend continues monthly.
Sheppard Mullin – Internal application updates
Description of project: The client had several web applications that were not particularly smart in the way they collected information. The client had designed each of these applications with .NET (Visual Basic) and utilized the typical post back approach. There were intake forms that would list 25 questions, but at a certain point they would say “If this is a litigation matter, please skip the next 5 question.” We redesigned all of the applications utilizing HTML, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX and Web Services. All post backs were eliminated. The forms were made intelligent. If questions did not apply, the JQuery hid them entirely.

Description of project: The client has a call center application (converted from Visual Basic 6 by Mahony Technology Solutions Inc.) that the web site had to integrate with. This site was designed with HTML, .NET (C#), web services, JQuery, AJAX, Javascript and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. It is a customer facing web site responsible for more than 80% of the client’s annual revenue. It handles customer orders, customer account maintenance, a rewards program and payment processing.
